In a special presentation and demonstration designed exclusively for NACD, Special Agent Bomb Technicians from the Chicago FBI will discuss the agency’s explosives program, explosive precursor chemicals, and improvised explosives. The presentation will also include examples of actual FBI cases and terrorism incidents involving the use of improvised explosives before proceeding to a nearby location to receive a live range demonstration with actual explosions using many of the chemical precursors and improvised explosives discussed.
