We’re delighted to announce that registration is now officially open for our Annual Meeting! Please Join us in Amelia Island, Florida from November 6-9, 2023 for the chemical distribution event of the year. This year, you can expect all the usual news, analysis, and networking opportunities you’ve come to expect over the years and so much more!
This year’s theme of “Always On” captures the very essence of NACD and our membership. As a vital link in the supply chain, our members are always on call and available to ensure critical products and chemicals are reaching their customers whenever, and wherever, they need them.
The NACD team has been working hard these past few months to plan an agenda packed with presentations to pique your interest. As always, we’ve arranged a stellar line-up of top speakers to deep dive into some of the most pressing issues affecting chemical distribution.
Setting the scene for this year’s meeting, our President and CEO, Eric R. Byer, will be joined by members of the Executive Committee to lay out the association’s vision for the years ahead. We can’t wait for you to hear all about the exciting changes we’ve got planned to ensure we continue to meet your needs and expectations moving forward.
Continuing the theme of change, attendees will then hear from the first of our guest speakers, author Keith Wyche, who will discuss the fundamental organizational changes needed to employ an effective diversity, equity, and inclusion program within the modern workplace.
And what better way to start the following morning than by being able to sit in on an exclusive conversation between two of the biggest names in politics in recent years?
We invite you to take your seats and listen in to Joe Lieberman, Advocate for Centrist Policies to Break Partisan Gridlock; U.S. Senator from Connecticut (1988-2012); Democratic Candidate for Vice President (2000); Senior Counsel, Benson & Torres’ Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel Practice Group, and John Boehner, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives (2011-2015), as they provide anecdotes and, no doubt, some lively discussion about life on Capitol Hill.
Speaking of high-pressure working environments, be sure to join us on the final day for a presentation from retired NASA astronaut, Joan Higginbotham, who will talk about the importance of teamwork and offer her unique take on how to succeed no matter the challenges you face.
And last, but by no means least, we’ll be closing out the event with the always popular ITR Economics dissecting the current state of the economy and explaining what may lie ahead in the years ahead.
As always, this year’s agenda includes the usual evening receptions, golf tournament, awards presentation, community service event, and the Business Marketplace to keep you busy – as well as ample time to meet and network with friends and colleagues!
So, don’t delay, register and book your place now. We look forward to seeing you there.
