Congress Connect

NACD Congress Connect

Your shortcut to Washington, D.C.

Set up meetings with your local legislators from May 4, to May 14, 2021.

This May we are bringing back the opportunity to speak one-on-one with your local legislators with our new legislative advocacy event: Congress Connect! Join us to share the story of chemical distributors and the supply chain that America has relied on to ensure for fast and safe delivery of vital chemicals during the COVID pandemic and beyond. Help NACD to convey our industry's importance to the decision-makers on Capitol Hill and build the relationships necessary to help pass realistic and secure legislation for the chemical industry.

We’re kicking off this two-week virtual advocacy event with a keynote speaker and a Congressional Advocacy 101 Prep session to prepare you to speak on the critical issues facing the chemical distribution industry. Following the virtual kick-off festivities, NACD members will attend previously scheduled virtual meetings with their Members of Congress, key legislators, and their staff to connect on the issues impacting your business. This virtual event is designed to fit periodic congressional meetings into your schedule over the span of two-weeks. Connecting with Congress has never been easier!
