Backwater Fishing**

Backwater or “inland” fishing among the Ten Thousand Islands of the Florida Evergladesprovides a great scenic trip as well as great fishing. Fish the backwater mangrove for a variety of species, including mangrove snapper, trout, redfish, sheepshead, snook, and — when in season — tarpon.

Cooking Competition**

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of food, fun, and drinks. Attendees will be instructed by top JW Marco Island chefs how to create the perfect paella and sangria before breaking into teams to compete for bragging rights as top NACD chefs! But don’t forget — no cooking competition is complete without the dreaded “secret ingredient” thrown into the mix. This competition will be one to remember.

Food Angels

Attendees will have the opportunity to pack backpacks with meals for area homeless students through Food Angels. Each backpack will be filled with kid-friendly, accessible, shelf-stable foods. An area artist will lead the group in creating art encouragement cards, which will be included in every backpack that is delivered to area school children throughout the year.

James Keeler is back by popular demand! This year, he will moderate a transportation panel that will get to the root of the transportation issues facing the industry and the cutting-edge technologies that will help alleviate the issues we face today. The panel will address what solutions are being offered by both carriers and shippers across all modes of transportation to improve the logistics environment. The panel will include experts from the Safety Transportation Board, truckload, and intermodal, as well as a representative from the barge industry.

Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR)

Asa Hutchinson (R) has been serving as the 46th Governor of Arkansas since 2015. Previously, he was U.S. Attorney for the Fort Smith–based Western District of Arkansas, U.S. Congressman from the Third District of Arkansas, Administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the first Undersecretary for Border and Transportation Security at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Governor Hutchinson will share his thoughts on important issues that face your businesses today: taxes, infrastructure and security, and more.
