NACD's Guide to a Successful Virtual ChemEdge 2020

Thank you for registering to attend NACD’s Virtual ChemEdge and/or Responsible Distribution Summer Track Workshop on September 1-3, 2020. We have been working very hard to create a wonderful experience for you and to ensure your training needs are met this year.

We wanted to provide you with some quick tips to prepare you for the new learning atmosphere! Read on to gain best-known practices for successful virtual meetings and information on how to log in to the meeting app and the conference sessions.

Think of a Virtual Conference as a face-to-face meeting and conduct yourself as you would if you were all present in the same room. Please come prepared to listen, learn, and ask questions to best prepare yourself and your company to grow and gain knowledge to help you with your day-to-day responsibilities!

 

Logging into the Conference

*Important Note: Please watch your email inbox (or spam filter) for an email sent to all registered attendees containing their login credentials from info@vconferenceonline.com. Once you receive this email, follow these instructions:

1. Login to the conference by clicking the link and going to the microsite page.
2. When that page loads, you will need to press “enter event at the top right.
3. From here you will enter your email and password (provided in the credentials email) to get into the Conference.

Please note that you will not be able to enter the Conference until 30 minutes prior to the first session. Once you are logged in, you will be in the main lobby. You can navigate to the expo hall, the sessions, the help desk, or other sections of the Conference via the links along the top of the screen.

We are excited to present you with a new and improved ChemEdge Mobile app with more enhanced features.

*Important Note: Please watch your email inbox (or spam filter) for an email sent to all registered attendees from support@crowdcompassmail.com with the subject line: “There's an app for ChemEdge 2020!” asking you to download the new app. Once downloaded from your app store, you will need to login and verify your information using a secondary email with an entry code.

In this mobile app, you can message with exhibitors/ attendees, schedule appointments, find the attendee list, look up sessions and speakers, and much more! The ChemEdge app is a free and innovative way for you to access conference information and network with attendees at your fingertips. The app is available only to Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. There is also a web version of the app which will be available to all attendees. There is no cost to download, and it’s easy! We think you will be impressed with this tool and hope you take advantage of it throughout the conference!

 

Attendee List and Exhibitor Directory

Please download the mobile app (see above) to view full contact information and the most current registration list as it’s updated regularly. In addition, you can download a ChemEdge attendee list by clicking here and view who is exhibiting by clicking here.

Many of our exhibitors are offering raffle prizes in their booths, providing demos, videos, resources, and are available to connect with you directly via this online system. Please make sure to visit them during our time together in September.

 

Education for All

We encourage everyone, including exhibitors, to attend the educational sessions! Handouts and slides will be available for download within the session room. All presentations will be available on the platform in the On-Demand tab 60 days post-conference.

Certificates for those participating in the Responsible Distribution Summer Track will be sent post-conference.
