Local Activities & Tours
Experience the true flavor of the southwest. The resort is a perfect base from which to explore the incredible Sonoran Desert or visit the region’s cities, sights, and cultural attractions. On a Jeep, Hummer, or ATV Tour, a guide will take you out to the high desert to see stunning scenery and learn about Arizona and its native people’s history, geography, and plant life. Float over the Sonoran Desert in a hot air balloon for limitless panoramas, ending with a traditional champagne toast. Tour all over Arizona and into Mexico (passport required) in comfortable, customized vans. Your driver-guide will regale you with fascinating historical and geographic anecdotes to make the trip more memorable.

Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is located about 40 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. With an abundance of programs that help you be at your best in mind, body, and spirit, this is a perfect destination that will have you feeling better than when you arrived. In addition, NACD will plan and provide transportation to several off-site destinations for your enjoyment. Here are some key logistics and features of the hotel.

Check-In and Check-Out:
When planning your travel, please note that check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 pm. For cancellations, please notify the hotel within 7 days to avoid charges.

Hotel Parking: Complimentary 24-hour self-parking. Valet parking is $15 a day (NACD rate).
Shopping:
Just a short and pleasant walk from the resort grounds—or a complimentary shuttle ride away—is the Kierland Commons Shopping Center, offering more than 70 popular retailers and a splendid selection of eateries with cuisines from around the world.

Golf
Golfers will find the best of the sport at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. Kierland Golf Club offers three 9-hole courses, each with its own flavor and strategy and all designed by a former senior designer for Jack Nicklaus. Tennis
Enjoy an outdoor alternative to the gym. Play day or night on two lighted hard-court tennis courts. Lessons with local pros are available for $85/hour or $50/half hour. Adult and child racket rentals are $10 each. 
 
Fitness Center
The WestinWORKOUT®, powered by Reebok Gym is located inside the spa complex. Top-of-the-line equipment offers you every workout option. The gym is open 24 hours a day to guests 18 years and older, free of charge, and accessible with a resort guestroom key. Other fitness services and amenities at the spa complex are free to guests receiving any spa treatment or service, or $20 for a day visit. 
 
Getting There

Airport:
The destination airport is Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). It is located approximately 40 miles from the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa

Ground Transportation
Westin Kierland Resort & Spa offers an airport shuttle service to and from Sky Harbor International Airport. The cost is $50 each way for up to four passengers, with shuttle drivers meeting you curbside by the blue diamonds outside all airport terminals. If you prefer to be met at baggage claim, there is an additional $20 charge. All prices are subject to change without notice. For airport shuttle reservations, contact the front desk or email info@kierlandresort.com. Local taxi service is also available outside all airport terminals for approximately $40.

Rental Cars
