NACD Mission
To enhance and communicate the professionalism and stewardship of the chemical distribution industry.
NACD Vision
It is the vision of NACD to work toward gaining recognition as the premier authority for chemical distribution in the United States, to strive for excellence in its Responsible Distribution Process, to advocate sound government policies, and to promote the continuous improvement of member companies.
NACD Goals
Continuously improve RDP so that it is a practical, effective program that addresses the needs of NACD’s membership.
Create value for NACD members by promoting legislative and regulatory initiatives that would enhance members’ ability to run successful businesses and by opposing initiatives that would be harmful to members.
Increase familiarity with and strengthen the image of NACD and RDP with the media to result in greater recognition among the legislative and regulatory community and relevant stakeholders.
Identify and recruit chemical distributor companies as members of NACD, and identify and recruit companies that are vitally important in the chemical commerce supply chain as Affiliates to NACD.
Develop and activate a retention strategy to achieve a 98% member retention rate in FY08.
Revitalize volunteerism and participation of NACD members/Affiliates.
